Hello, I can't reproduce.. from what I noticed, the CloseSB and ClearSB
and whatever are called when the user is
inactive (when testing amsn2, I saw those outputs whenever a failed CHG
AWY was on the protocol log), maybe the
idle event handler has a defect ?
btw, I just added the feature of creating new profiles when the 'remember
me' field is enabled.. now we should
enable users to delete a profile from that window (instead of prefs
window..) WLM has a 'forget me' button under
the remember me one and clicking on it says 'are you sure, you can add it
later, blablabla', but if a user
disabled the 'remember me' and signed in without clicking forget me, he'll
still loose his profile, but without
any warning.. we should do it better... maybe for profiled logins, keep
the remember me disabled, but add a
clickable link next to it with (forget me), so the user is forced to click
on it and read the warning before he
deletes his profile. warning should say that you'll loose all your
settings, chat logs, webcam logs, etc.. and
they cannot be recovered" or something like that...
yeah, the remember me checkbox is disabled already for profiled logins. I'll
add the forget me button. Thanks for the adding of creating profiles!
The login screen also needs skinnable options, we also talked about having
an alternate BG for the login screen
if the skinner wants to put an alt-bg.. and the bg should stick up-left,
not down-right. anyways, skinners
(Lee?) would probably be the best people to ask for what improvments are
required in that field.
I think we should have a bg image like a gradient or something that fills
the window (like WLM), and a logo to overlay on it, like the buddies or
something.
Apart from that, I like it, apart the fact that it needs a quite big window
for it to work, I mean, resize your
amsn to a small window, then you won't be able to see anything...
and that's annoying especially since the 'default CL size on installation'
or for a new profile is already too
small to contain all the widgets...
oh.. I just tried to see wLM's behavior on this, when you resize, if the
window gets too small, the DP
disappears to leave more space, then the 'forgot password/service
status/sign up' links disappear and are
replaced by a small 'more' clickable link which simply resizes the CL to a
size where all the elements
(including DP) are shown...
then if it gets too small again, the remember me/remember password, etc..
checkboxes disappear, and finally, the
'sign in' button will disappear if you resize to a very small size...
that's for a vertical resize.. on a horizontal resize, the combobox and
password fields are resized to
completely fit inside the CL's width.
this should be an important improvement to have...
yeah okay, i'll take a look :)
