Thanks for the proposal and for trying to help by contributing with the 
translations.
At this time, we have no plans on translating the website, so I don't think you 
would need to translate it.
But concerning the FAQ, you can translate it if you want. The FAQ is in the 
wiki, so anyone can translate if 
they want to. All you need to do is to create an account in the wiki and start 
translating. Just go here : 
http://www.amsn-project.net/wiki/FAQ
Then create your account. Edit the page and add 'German' in the top linking to 
a page named 
Frequently_Asked_Questions_German then edit that page and copy/paste everything 
from the english FAQ and start 
translating the page as much as you can. If you don't have time to complete the 
translation, please put 
'incomplete' next to the 'German' in the english page (like other languages 
have).

but this is more concerning the translation of amsn itself as far as I know.
