Hi again answering myself! so.. now the Audio call is pretty much complete.. I also took the time to integrate it with the UI...
Read this thread for more info : http://www.amsn-project.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=29166#29166 here's the remaining TODO : 1 - there's a 'TODO' comment in sip.tcl I need to fix 2 - if you close a CW, you have no way to hang up 3 - receiving/sending an invite needs to play a ring.wav sound 4 - test on windows (thx to Ole Andre who built all the packages for windows!) 5 - finish the ICE stuff.. So that's pretty simple and I hope someone can take care of the todo items 2 and 3 while I do the 1 and 4.. the 5th item will take some time but I'm currently working on making libnice compatible with gtalk (for work) once I'm done with that, I'll have enough knowledge to make it also compatible with MSN (I already know most of the differences) For now, you can do audio calls between two amsn users (if you're not in the same NAT) or with WLM (if you send the invite and only one of you will hear the other depending on whether you're in the same NAT or not). I hope to see some people start testing now 'cause I tried my best to make it the easiest possible for the lazy ones who are afraid of the tcl console :p Tere's still the dependency stuff and we'll soon get debs and rpms if someone wants them... and windows/mac binaries should come pretty soon too. p.s: for those who didn't read the forum post, to get it working, it's as simple as : 1 - get the dependencies (http://amsn-project.net/wiki/Farsight) 2 - svn update && ./configure && make 3 - run amsn, open a chat window 4 - menu actions->start audio call...
