I agree, it's a bugfix release, yes, but minor improvements
are welcomed. I wasn't sure either, so I left them out, but
yes those two features for example could go in there...
should it be a 'bugfix only' release or a 'stabler'
release... it's opten for discussion.
There are also a few commits that only add plugin events,
they should also go in 0.97.1 if we do the 'stabler'
approach.

ok... I think you're right, it's not worth it taking the
risk of making that release less stable.. and it's feature
because it's for the shared profile thingy... 
about 0.98alpha, I guess having a disclaimer 'if you use
this version, save your profile, as it will become
incompatible with 0.97.x' should be enough ...
