Hi All! There's an urgent release needed for aMSN 0.97.1. Since most of you don't know, there's just been a change in the MSN servers today. That change in protocol doesn't break WLM or other third party clients, but it breaks aMSN. The 'normal' MSN session starts with : -> VER 1 MSNP15 CVR0 <- VER 1 MSNP15 CVR0
We send that we support MSNP15 and CVR0 protocols (CVR0 being a dummy thingy). Now, the server responds : VER 1 MSNP15 and that's it... the result : aMSN checks for CVR0 and doesn't find it, so it thinks it can't negociate the protocol and doesn't connect! This is affecting all aMSN versions! I just fixed this in the trunk (and will merge to branch) but this means that we MUST release aMSN bugfix 0.97.1 ASAP! The original plan was to release it at the same time as the 0.98 beta, but we don't have that much time to finish up 0.98 before releasing 0.97.1 Let's start the release phase right now and release 0.97.1 as soon as possible. p.s.: i you can still connect, it's probably because the server hosting your account didn't get the change "yet".
