Glad to see you back, we've been waiting for you! So.. yes, 0.97.2 is urgent, so the sooner, the better. I've just been looking at my forum tabs to see if there's anything related to 0.97.1 that should also be fixed, so here's what I found : 1 - we should provide a single autopackage with both the 8.4 and 8.5 binaries, like we do for mac and windows, because many people (ubuntu?) have 8.5, but 8.4 is the one launching by default, and it's causing many users issues since they get to change their default tcl/tk with update-alternatives.. Other solution is to change the first line of the 'amsn' file before packaging to make it use wish8.5 instead of 'wish' for the 8.5 package, and have wish8.4 for the 8.4 package. 2 - We should have the desktop icon/menu for aMSN installed by default, otherwise people won't know how to launch aMSN after installing it. 3 - http://www.amsn-project.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5446&highlight= tcl/tk 8.5 does not work for windows 95, so we must release the windows version bundles with tcl/tk 8.4, OR provide a separate package for win95 users. 4 -http://www.amsn-project.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=31791#31791 not critical, but it's a new bug.. the nickname truncation for the display picture frame on multi user chats should not check for the 'truncate' option. That's it I think, so there's not much stuff left to do, basically, one small bug, and the other 3 are packaging issues... so let's fix those fast and release 0.97.2 ASAP. Thanks!
