At the October General Membership Meeting we are going to ask you to vote on the following dues increase: Flag & Associate Increase from $50 to $75 New Flag Member Increase from $85 to $120 New Associate Member Increase from $85 to $95 This increase results from the AMSS BOD monitoring costs and dues income for several years and delayed action until now. As you are aware the cost of doing anything has increased significantly in the past two years and to keep providing the services we offer, we too must raise fees. It is important to remember that AMSS has held the Dues at the same level for over twenty years and we worked hard to keep the step in cost as low as possible. Beyond this, for your $75 you will continue to receive 9 to11 Membership Meeting presentations, 8 Guinea Cup Regattas, the Half Pint of Rum Regatta, discounted entry into the Yesteryear and Kettenburg Regattas, and a quarterly Albatross newsletter.
