We trust you had a fantastic time in years past, and thought the sailing and the social events were world class. We would like to personally invite you and your crew to join us as competitors in the 2023 Yachting Cup. The regatta will be held May 5 – 7, 2023. In past years, your fleet has been well represented at the SDYC Yachting Cup, and we are hopeful that this year will be no exception. There is a substantial effort by SDYC, starting with Commodore Jack Leer, to make the Yachting Cup a signature West Coast event. All aspects of the racing, from rule selection to one design class selection, are in careful review, with scoring improvements being made. As well as the on the water competition, the social events are included in your registration fee, for you and your crew. Friday night there will be a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta with hosted SoCal Mexican cuisine and sponsored Mt. Gay specialty cocktails. Live entertainment featuring John Fretwell’s ska band, *Third Project*. Saturday Night our big Yachting Cup DJ party featuring a hosted Italian-inspired buffet with Mount Gay Rum libations. The Sunday Afternoon Awards Party will have some of our Club’s favorite comfort foods and hosted beer. *Register now! The discounted entry fee is available now for registration before April 3rd.
