If you are replacing the internal hard drive for the A1200, yep, it is simply one of the 2.5" IDE laptop drives. I even installed two of them in one of my A1200s at one time. Simply made one of them master and the other slave (changed the jumpers). Not much room, but it worked. These things are available on eBay at pretty good prices. Frankly, I don't even know if there is such a thing as a SCSI 2.5" drive. Possible, I suppose, but rare if available at all.
