Following up to my own post, I created a form to analyse the weekly log
files from one of our virtual servers. I can analyze each individual
report, but when I analyze multiple reports (set LO ="ex9811*.log", for
example), it works for collection upto about 3M in size, but GPFs for a
collection that is about 3.6MB
The machine in question is running NT 4.0 SP4, IIS3. has 128MB of RAM,
and about 600MB of free disk space.

While I had difficulty running earlier versions of Anlgform.exe, the
version included in the most recent compilation worked first time for me
under IIS3 (I haven't had an opportunity to try it under IIS4 yet).
I didn't have to do anything special, once I figured out the correct
format for specifying the log file location (normal DOS notation - eg
d:\analog\access.log). I just made the Analog Virtual Directory an
executable directory in the IIS Manager application, and it worked first
time.
I tested 3 or 4 small log files (<1M), and I briefly tested a large log
file (>60M). The large file immediately crashed Anlgform - a GPF dialog
popped up on the server, but I haven't had time to look into that any
further. I haven't even verified that the log file itself isn't corrupt.

Hi everyone, I need some help with analog. :)
A few people have reported that when using the form interface on Windows,
with IIS, analog never terminates, even after very long waits. Furthermore,
even after the server has timed out on the process, analog and anlgform
continue running indefinitely, and have to be explicitly killed. This
happens even if the argument string passed to anlgform is very short.
Apparently, analog and anlgform both work fine from the DOS shell. Also
anlgform works from the browser with the argument qv=1. These make me
think that there might be a server issue.
Has anyone on this list experienced this? Even better, solved it?
Thanks.
