I'm not sure what shell you're using but in general on unix you can
redirect standard error to a file similarly to the way you would redirect
the command output with >&. On csh on DEC Unix,
>>& appends to the error file, >! overrides the no clobber check and >>&!
appends and overrides the check. See the man page for you shell (ksh, csh,
etc) on you system. Try
./analog +gisl.cfg >&errs
