I'm have several questions regarding the user report and would appreciate any
guidance the group can give.

We have an IIS 4 web server running under NT 4. We have configured various
password protected FrontPage webspaces which take advantage of the NT
challenge-response authentication scheme.

Users are located in different NT domains therefore they have to log in with
"domain\userid". We also have a default domain set so users in North America
can just use "userid". I have the following analog options set:

        CASE insensitive
        LOGFORMAT microsoft-na
        USER ON
        FAILUSER ON
        USERCOLS RPBD
        FAILUSERCOLS RD

When analog creates the report, I end up with duplicate users:

#reqs: pages: kbytes: last date: user
-----: -----: ------: ---------------: ----
 1621: 269: 14854: Nov/30/98 11:06: user2
 1288: 329: 16687: Nov/20/98 16:10: eruser3
   14: 0: 33: Nov/17/98 15:39: NARUSER2
   51: 6: 206: Nov/19/98 09:57: ERUSER3
    5: 1: 32: Nov/17/98 16:06: USER2
    5: 1: 32: Nov/17/98 16:06: NaRuSeR2
    2: 0: 557: Nov/ 3/98 14:19: naruser2

- Is there a way to make userid case insensitive?
- How can I keep the "\" to separate the domain from the userid?
- Is there a way to include or exclude wildcarded userids? This would allow
me to process each domain separately. (INCLUDE "NAR\*")
- Is there a way to alias usernames so I could equate "defaultdomain\user1"
to "user1"?

thanks
