We have analog 3.11 on a Dec Alpha UNIX system installed.
I tried to use the USERINCLUDE command and get a bit confused about the
resulting statistics.
In the config file I have at the beginning the command 'USERINCLUDE username'
This should include in the statistics only the user 'username' and exclude
all other users by default.
While the report USER correctly shows only one line with the user
'username' all other reports seem to show much to high numbers than it
should be if they would include only this one user in the statistics.
However, all numbers are clearly lower than the statistic I get without the
USERINCLUDE command, but although they are lower they are still much too
high to be correct.
Can anyone tell me
why I get these too high numbers in the output (might it be that the
statistic not only includes the usage of the user 'username' but also those
lines in the log file where no user at all is shown?),
what effect the USERINCLUDE command actually has on which reports (should
it effect also the summary reports?)
and if my assuption is right, that the whole output should reflect only the
usage of the server by the user specified with the USERINCLUDE command (or
if that is a misunderstanding).
Thanks!
