Here's what I'm trying to do. I have several virtual hosts on my server. I
put the output in a directory called stats under that particular host's home
directory. Currently, I must also copy all the images to a directory called
"images" under the stats directory. ie; those images for analog exists
several times on the server.
I want to consolidate that down to one set of images and was hoping I could
do that with a configuration directive.

I think I'm a bit confused about what you're asking here. That looks like
a web server configuration command, not an analog configuration command.
The analog command FILEALIAS looks like this:
FILEALIAS name_in_logfile name_in_report
In other words, it translates names that appear in the logfile, to another
name that you want them to appear as instead in the analog report. It
doesn't change the behaviour of your server.
If I haven't understood you, feel free to explain again.
