Hi,

Is there a limit to the size of the logfile that can be processed? I
assume the answer depends on available RAM and swap space (Sun/Solaris).
I can process each week's logfiles, but can't process a whole month
(250Mb - that's MS-Proxy for you!!). As this may be about a quarter of
the size of logfiles once all our users come on stream ... (8-)

When I ran the job first it complained about running out of memory, so I
upped the swap space. Now it gets most of the way through processing,
then starts disk paging like crazy.

The output file is partly created (first 8192 bytes), and then nothing.
Eventually I have to kill the job.

I switched off some of the more lengthy report sections to see if that
would help, but no improvement.

Any thoughts welcome.

Thanks.

Wallace
