There are a couple of people who have volunteered to do this, one some time
ago, but one just last week. I shall send you their addresses privately.
Some people tried to do this back in version 2 days and got into trouble over
the following issue: plurals are different depending on how many of the things
there are (as if in English we always said 22 fish but 23 fishes). This was a
problem for the FLOOR texts. I think Russian has the same problem, but I think
the translator was somehow able to use a generic form of the plural in that
case.
I would of course be interested to know how the source could be improved
to cope with non-European languages. I am well aware that I have lots of
Eurocentric assumptions at the moment.
