You are correct that both my questions are aimed at describing and finding a
solution to the same problem: namely, that I am unable to get anlgform.exe to
process files in9901.log .. in9903.log.

Yes, I've tried Start-Find! I don't find ANY other .cfg files, and I don't
find any files that contain the string 'in98'.

Also, I do not have any compiler or other resources for compiling the program,
so changing anything that is specified at the time of compilation is not an
option for me.

I have examined the query sent by anlgform.html; it is reproduced below for
reference:

http://143.131.232.32/analog/anlgform.exe?cg=%5Canalog%5Canalog.cfg&hn=ONLINEDOC2&xq=0&mq=0&Wp=0&Dp=0&dq=0&Hp=0&hq=0&oq=0&Sp=0&vq=0&iq=0&rq=0&Ip=0&xq=on&St=4&Sg=&Si=r&is=2&if=&ih=b&rs=0&rf=&rh=r&rl=pages&fr=&to=

The message that is appended to the end of the report is reproduced below for
reference:

\analog\analog.exe: Warning F: Cannot find logfile in98*: ignoring it (For
help on all errors and warnings, see docs/errors.html)

Thanks for your help in solving this puzzle.

How about using Start-Find on likely directories?
