No guarantees on correctness, but I also wanted to know this info, and used
the following BROWALIAS commands to show the platform/OS used:

BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*Win*98*" "Win 98"
BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*Win*95*" "Win 95"
BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*Win*NT*" "Win NT"
BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*Win16*" "Win 3.x"
BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*Win*3.*" "Win 3.x"
BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*PPC*" "Power PC"
BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*Mac*PC*" "Power PC"
BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*Mac*68*" "Macintosh"
BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*Linux*" "Linux"
BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*Sun*" "Sun"
BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*Open*" "VMS"
BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*UX*" "Unix"
BROWALIAS "MS Frontpage*" "Frontpage"
BROWALIAS "Mozilla/*" "* - unlisted platform"

The last line is the catch all in case it cannot be identified. It displays
the full details and the 'unlisted platform' as a reminder. If anyone can
spot any flaws please let us know!
