Hi,
Just a quick question.. I was looking through my log files, and there seems
to be some sort of spider or something going through my site by the name of
"ExtractorPro"..
Here's a partial output that Analog gave me (for one day):
Listing the first 40 browsers by the number of requests, sorted by the
number of requests.
#reqs: browser
-----: -------
47064: ExtractorPro
329: Netscape 3.01 (Win 95)
323: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 98)
271: Mozilla/3.01 (Macintosh; I; PPC)
191: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98; DigExt)
Does anyone have any idea what it might be doing? and how I can stop it from
sucking my cpu resources? Searching for this ExtractorPro on Google.com
tells me it just seems to be a program crawling for email addresses or
something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Best Regards,
Joe
