If you insist:
Get a Linux distribution on CD, buy a Linux book with a
distribution etc.
Get Connectix Virtual PC software.
Install Virtual PC on your Mac.
(If its a B&W or iMac you may want a floppy drive at this
point depending on whether you can boot off the CD distribution
or not...)
Install Linux (Slackware is OK, not sure about RedHat) on to
Virtual PC.
Build analog.
ftp binaries from Virtual PC to server and run.
You now have a ix86 Linux system hosted on your Mac to play with as well.
Surely it is easy to pull the logfiles and run analog on the Mac though? You
can always push the reports back to the Unix host for public viewing.
