Hi, folks -- Hope someone can give me a hand here quickly, as my boss is
busy breathing down my neck for a report yet tonight. (Nothing like hoping
for miracles, right?) ;-)

Been using 2.91beta1 for quite a while now, and it works just fine for
everything we've needed so far. However, today I was asked for the first
time to exclude files from a particular directory (an Images directory) in
a report, and so dutifully added the requisite line:
"FILEEXCLUDE /Images/*" (without the quotes, of course, in the actual
config file.) right before all the HOSTEXCLUDE lines.

Run analog. Report comes up. Looks great. Notice stats for /Images
directory. Scratch head. Check config file. Looks good. Run "analog
-settings". Says it's not going to include stuff from /Images. Scratch
head some more. Repeat assorted permutations of this for an hour. Write
you folks. Hoping like heck you can help me.

The actual directory I want excluded is /Images off of the htdocroot. I'm
assuming that I'm specifying the location correctly, yes? (The same format
that the references to the directory appear in in the log files.)

Halp!

;-)

Thanks!

Mitch

A good listener helps the speaker clarify -- and often correct -- his ideas
in the course of expressing them. The young become good communicators if
they have parents or relatives or teachers who are good listeners.
