I am trying to run Analog 3.32 (successfully in the
main) on a PC which connects to the internet via a
proxy. What I can't get is any reports on domain or
host names. Domains just produces
309158: 97.55%: [unresolved numerical addresses]
16109: 2.45%: [domain not given]
and Hosts produces the list of IP addresses from the
dnsfile.txt.
I've studied the FAQ, the documentation, and past
threads on this list, and currently have these
dns-related lines in my config file
DNSFILE dnsfile.txt
DNS READ
DOMAINSFILE lang\ukdom.tab
HOST ON
DOMAIN ON
(I've also tried running the QDNS application - it
succeeded in resolving the proxy name).
So, is there anything I can add to the above which
will cause Analog to give me domains and names, or do
I need to have a warm and friendly chat with the proxy
administrators? What do people think?
