I am also using report magic which requires COMPUTER output from analog.
With many HOSTALIAS grouping commands in the configuration file, analog
produces the COMPUTER output without any problems and report magic work
fine.
Even with two log files analog produces the following:
stats:/var/analog.daily # ./analog -G -g/var/analog.daily/analog.cfg
./analog: Warning L: logfiles /mnt/www1/IISLogFiles/W3SVC4/ex991116.log
and
/mnt/www2/IISLogFiles/W3SVC4/ex991116.log overlap: possible double
counting
(For help on all errors and warnings, see docs/errors.html)
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
stats:/var/analog.daily #
I have not tested it with version 4 yet but I will do as soon as I find
time to do it.
Have you got any idea of what might be wrong?
have a nice day,
mihalis.
