I installed Analog in my httpd directory, but cannot get it to run.
I get the following error messages:
usr/local/etc/httpd/analog4.0/analog: Warning F: Failed to open
configuration
file /usr/local/etc/httpd/analog4.0/analog.cfg: ignoring it
(For help on all errors and warnings, see docs/errors.html)
usr/local/etc/httpd/analog4.0/analog: Warning F: Failed to open language
file
/usr/local/etc/httpd/analog4.0/lang/uk.lng: ignoring it
usr/local/etc/httpd/analog4.0/analog: Fatal error: Can't read language
file
/usr/local/etc/httpd/analog4.0/lang/uk.lng: exiting
I have a virtual server configuration on an Apache server.
Because of my configuration, it is sometimes necessary to use the path:
/usr/[username]/usr/local/etc/httpd/..... for command made from the
shell
I tried installing analog first with this full path configured in the
anlghead.h file, and when that didn't work, I reinstalled in a different
directory with the httpd path specified as /usr/local/etc/httpd (as
indicated above)
I got identical error messages in both instances - the only difference
is the path reflected in the error message.
I contacted the tech support people at my hosting company & they don't
have a clue.
Help!
