Stephen,

I think it is interesting to use analog for MSPROXY logfiles, oll though I
am still confused about what the proper
LOGFORMAT should be for the optimum use at the moment with the current
analog.......

It seems that analog makes assumptions about the domain and host fields...
The interesting thing is that MSPROXY
logs are mainly ( in my case) interesting for OUTGOING traffic, whereas
analog is more focussed on the incoming
        traffic..

The MSPROXY logs, (and I assume also wingate logs and others) contain a lot
of interesting data, like how much data
was actually fetched from the INET and how much data was in the local
cache, which pages changed since the last time
it was cached etc etc.. (If you want to get an idea, you can download
WEBTRENDS for PROXY and use it for free)

I am starting to learn more about analog and the PROXY logs behaviour and
it sound like an applicable and interesting
        project for analog......

        Any more opinions ANYBODY ???

Erick
