You can copy text to and From a DOS window in Win9x or WinNT. Capturing
the information as an image isn't very efficient. Just single click on
the DOS icon at the top left of your DOS window, and select Edit to cut
and paste from the Window.

Analog can recognize more than one format at a time, if you specify
multiple LOGFORMATs

Do you have Microsoft Word installed. It's not the worlds greatest text
editor, but I've used it when I needed to open log files of 50+ Meg. (On
NT, Notepad seems to cope with log files of 10 or so megabytes reasonably
well).

But to just get something from the beginning, TYPE the logfile, and hit
CTRL-C to stop it near the beginning.
