Analog's telling you right up front what the problem is: You need to have a
date field in your logfiles. Go into the web management console, select the
logformat and got to advanced properties. Click on 'date' and any other fields
you want to add (like the query string) and apply.

There are tools on the Helper Applications page to adjust existing logfiles to
include dates.

And Analog will process a W3C (or MS-EXTENDED) logfile format without a format
string.
