First, of course, analog.cfg should point to the extracted .log file.
I guess that's how you've allready set it up.

Second, run it from the DOS-window so that the output won't
disappear: I guess you're using windows? If so: Start-Programs-MS-Dos
prompt change to the drive and directory where analog lives. Then
type analog and read what it says. Then we'll see further...

+ I have just started as webmaster for our school; our ISP is running
an
+ apache server with the logs for our site put in a logs file. They
are
+ saved as .gz files. When I download the files to a local drive and
+ then unzip them I rename them as .log files. When I configure
+ analog.cfg to point to the file I get a report with nothing in it.
+ The DOS window launches and then automatically closes lots of text
+ scrolls across the screen too fast to read. A report.html file is
+ generated however it has successful requests as 0. Why is this?
+ Surely the log file contains the relevant items?
+
+ Thanks
