OS win2k - no patches - command run from command prompt.
Analog version 4.04
I use the following command syntax:
analog preview.log
I get the following error message:
analog: Warning F: Can't auto-detect format of logfile preview.log: ignoring
it

analog: Warning R: Turning off empty File Type Report
analog: Warning R: Turning off empty Directory Report
analog: Warning R: Turning off empty Domain Report
analog: Warning R: Turning off empty Organisation Report
analog: Warning R: Turning off empty Search Word Report
analog: Warning R: Turning off empty Operating System Report
analog: Warning R: Turning off empty File Size Report
analog: Warning R: Turning off empty Status Code Report
The Apache web server is using custom logs, and I have added the following
line to the analog.cfg file, copied from the httpd.conf.
APACHELOGFORMAT ("%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b \"%{Referer}i\"
\"%{User-Agent}i\" \"%{cookie}i\"")
The first line from the log file is as follows:
195.92.168.163 - - [17/Sep/2000:00:01:51 +0100] "GET /myfreeserve/
HTTP/1.1" 302 214 "http://www.freeserve.com/myfreeserve/" "Mozilla/4.0
(compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows 98; CDv5_0699)"
Any suggestions as to the problem would be gratefully recieved. I have read
all the FAQ's and I have been through the documentation, but all attempts at
changing the logformat meet with the same problems.
