I recently lost my analog.cfg file configurations and am having
difficulty re-configuring for off-Internet Domain reports.

Our website has low daily activity in the 400 Hosts, 1500 Requests
per day range, and I process the stats daily, weekly and monthly - at
the end of each month archive-saving the log and dnscache files from
the server directory to disk, and deleting both from the server.

I need to process off-internet analog reports for log files archived
before starting to use analog a month ago. My server, verio.net has
analog 4.01 and I am using 4.11 - with 4.0 analog.cfg.

I am currently using the analog.cfg configurations on Internet

        DNSFILE dnsfile.txt
        DNS WRITE
        DOMAIN ON
        DOMSORTBY REQUESTS
        DNSGOODHOURS 840
        DNSBADHOURS 840
        DOMCOLS 1R
        DOMFLOOR 1R

and on-Internet obtain the daily Domain reports ok (along with the
others), with the host names in the Host and Organization reports -
but the dnscache file is not created nor accumulating as it was
before in my server analog directory.

For off-Internet I substitute

       DNSFILE dnscache
       DNS READ

which worked ok before when processing archived files, or current log
and dnscache files downloaded from the server to disk. But now
off-Internet - obtaining dnscache for the archived (or daily
downloaded) log file using DNSTran - I process all the other reports
ok - but obtain only single-line Domain reports, and numbers only (no
names) in the Host and Organization reports.

Clearly I am making some simple error or omission in analog.cfg
(since I obtained the Domain reports off-Internet ok before).

Can someone help me find what it is?

Thanks,

John Stokes
