I'm sorry, I feel like this is a FAQ question, but I've read the docs front
to back and am not getting anywhere.
First of all, I have set "LOGFORMAT" in my analog.cfg file, but when I turn
"SETTINGS ON" it says:
Reading logfiles:
logfile.log
Logfile format:
<Automatic detection>\n
And when I try to process my file, the debug information says:
F: Detect that it's in NCSA combined format
I can change my LOGFORMAT line to look like anything I want, it never seems
to listen to me!
My apache format is:
#APACHELOGFORMAT ("%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %s %b \"%{Referer}i\"
\"%{User-Agent}i\"")
But the docs say that Analog doesn't support ${} from apache, so I am trying
to use:
LOGFORMAT (%S - %u [%d/%M/%Y:%h:%n:%j %j] "%j %r %j" %c %b "%j" "%j" %j %j
%j %j)
Which I interpret to say "import the standard format and ignore all the crap
at the end". But the analog debugging output indicates that it is dieing on
: "web2.qa.a..b.foobar.com" and "qa.a.foobar.com" in the following two
sample lines:
10.10.10.19 - - [21/Sep/2000:01:11:33 -0700] "GET /webcheck.html HTTP/1.0"
200 74 "-" "-" web2.qa.a.b.foobar.com - - 0
1.1.1.2 - - [21/Sep/2000:05:31:44 -0700] "GET /images/alogo.jpg HTTP/1.1"
304 - "https://qa.a.foobars.com/" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5;
Windows NT 4.0)" qa.a.foobar.com SSLv3 RC4-MD5 0
Can anyone offer some advice? I feel I must be missing something terribly
simple here.
I am currently running under Win2K, but once I get analog working I'll be
running it under SunOS. And yes, I have exactly the same problem with the
version I compiled under SunOS, that's why I'm trying to use the binary
distribution for Windows.
Any help/suggestions/flames/bonksonthehead muchly appreciated!
Tim.
