Greetings,
I'm new to the Analog world, and have several questions regarding my results
(none).
Background:
-- This is for an intranet site which is located on an IIS server (version
4.x, I believe).
-- The log files are generated weekly, and I combine them into one file.
-- I'm running Analog 4.13.
-- I have settings ON, debug ON, warnings ON, an errorfile specified
(error.txt, in the same folder as the application), and errlinelength 0.
The only text in the error file is "F: Closing configuration file
analog.cfg". I get no warnings when the program runs.
-- The log format file, configuration file, log file, and .exe are all
located in the same folder. Image and Language folders are subfolders of
this folder.
-- I get no output file, though one is specified (BOPnetstats.html) in the
same folder as the config file.
-- The log format is specified as (%Y-%m-%d %h:%n:%j %s - %j %j %r %c %j) to
coincide with what is at the top of the log file (#Date: 2000-09-24 00:28:05
#Fields: date time c-ip cs-username cs-method cs-uri-stem sc-status
time-taken).
-- Sometimes the username is included on a line in the log file, and
sometimes it is not. I don't know if that makes a difference.
-- There is another application on the IIS server, and I need to exclude it
from the results.
-- I need to exclude my IP, as well as 4 other users, from the results. The
exclude line in the config file looks like this: FILEEXCLUDE
(//bopiis/abtagentadmin/*, //bopiis/abtpublisherexec/*,
//bopiis/abtconnect/*, //bopiis/iissamples/*). A test area also resides on
that server. We need to exclude all requests from that site.
-- A previous version of Analog worked. Unfortunately, I no longer have
that config file or log file to look at to compare differences. The
previous results included ABT file requests, requests made by myself and the
other staff members who post to our site, and the test site requests.
Can you tell from this information the reason I'm not getting any output?
Am I listing the exclude files correctly?
Gayle Haugen
