Ok, I'm attempting to rectify the situation adequately explained under the
thread "Corrupted Cache Files". Thus, I've:
a) deleted any and all cache files that were made.
b) created a new cache file / report with these settings:
LOGFILE /var/log/httpd/gamegrene.com-access_log.1
LOGFORMAT %B
LOGFILE /var/log/httpd/gamegrene.com-agent_log.1
LOGFORMAT REFERRER
LOGFILE /var/log/httpd/gamegrene.com-referer_log.1
OUTFILE /home/httpd/html/gamegrene.com/analog/%Y%M%D.htm
CACHEOUTFILE /home/httpd/html/gamegrene.com/analog/.cache/%Y%M%D.cache
REFLINKINCLUDE pages
This correctly makes a report for 7 days, correctly stating that the last
log entry was at 1:03 in the morning (as confirmed by tailing the log file
and by "Analysed requests from Sun-05-Nov-2000 01:03 to Sun-12-Nov-2000
01:03 (7.0 days)."). The .1 log files above are my rotated, no longer being
updated logs. However, now I want to run a totals overview on the .cache/
file that was made above. I do so with the following config:
CACHEFILE /home/httpd/html/gamegrene.com/analog/.cache/*.cache
OUTFILE /home/httpd/html/gamegrene.com/analog/000000totals.htm
My totals.htm, however, says that the report is for 8.6 days: "Analysed
requests from Sun-05-Nov-2000 01:03 to Mon-13-Nov-2000 15:53 (8.6 days)."
Now, yes, at 15:53, I ran the overall configuration.
Where is it getting into Monday's data? If the logfile that the cache was
made from only had up to 1:03 on Sunday, and the overall totals ONLY look
at that resultant cache files, where is all this extra data coming in from?
This is the command line and resultant warnings...
