Did you install the binary or source rpm? binary rpm doesnt have .h
files. you could also skip the whole rpm system and just get the .tar.gz
and install / compile that provided you have a working compiler. If you
remember what you installed (didn't say in original note) you need to
verify if you ran the binary rpm cause my test on that just now indicates
you don't get .h files included. i did this rpm -vv -i --test
analog-4.13-1.i386.rpm .. the file list included no .h files, and if .h is
required as the documents suggest then you're starvin, marvin.

rpm -i --test is lame, it says it installed everything same as always,
then at the end goes 'oh, just kidding.' i hate rpm :)

but back to your set up - if you have a compiler and want to mess with the
.h install the source rpm next time. or just run it with the config files
only and don't compile in anything. i compiled once with source but
after that was able to use multiple .cfg 's and run with those, on a
virtual host box i have for linux. so you probably can do the same with
the binary rpm but i am not uninstalling my non rpm source to try that out
for you :)
