Hi:

Your email makes perfect sense, but I still can't figure out what I am doing
wrong. I understand exactly everything you say here. I created a seperate
.cfg called globalmax.cfg ... And within that file, I am using VHOSTINCLUDE
.. but no matter what I put, I get now no ouput in my html file outfile. I
was unsure and have been trying several ways:

VHOSTINCLUDE globalmax.com or VHOSTINCLUDE www.globalmax.com even
VHOSTINCLUDE http://www.globalmax.com .. all same results - none.

You can see the latest outfile in my attempts at
http://www.globalmax.com/webstats/globalmax.com (it is index.html there
which loads by default) ...

I have also attached my latest .cfg file for review.

I love to solve problems, and I can only think this must be real simple,
cause the simple ones somtimes stump me. :)

Thank you for the help.

Regards,

- Thomas

Thomas,

To create individual reports, you'll need to run analog separately for each
customer.

use the line

     VHOSTINCLUDE <hostname>

This will only include that host's requests in the analysis - all others
will be ignored

Also, specify an out put file for each

     OUTFILE <customerName>.html

in a custom config file for each customer and run analog with

     analog +g<CustomerFileName>.cfg

You may need to write a script or batch file for this

seperate html file for each virtual domain. I have one huge access.log
file
to analyse where we are logging all our www.domainnames.com there ...
Anyhelp on how to generate a virtual report appreciated. And yes, I have
been up all night, and have already RTFD. :)

Thanks...

PS. you can see how the log file is currently being analysed at
http://www.globalmax.com/webstats

as you can see there are no meaningful reports here for the individual
domains, just one big report of everything.

meaningless for individual domain ownders.
