I really like Analog! THank you!
But I am having headaches trying to get the form to work. I got the program
to work fine on my PC. Now I am setting it up on a dedicated server running
Windows 2000.
I have followed the instructions at the top of the html file and of the perl
file for the form. I have set up analog in a directory:
c:\program files\analog\analog.cfg
In the analog.cfg file I have set the following:
LOGFILE d:\Logs\uk\01\ex010114.log
OUTFILE outfile.html
OUTPUT HTML
HOSTNAME "DellHost UK"
HOSTURL http://www.dellhost.co.uk
HOSTEXCLUDE 163.244.*
IMAGEDIR "images\"
I have set up folder called analog under the root web directory and have put
the analog.pl file in a folder in my cgi-bin. I have set the home directory
configuration on the server to:
.pl c:\Perl\bin\perl.exe %s %s
I have managed to get another perl script to work but not this one. I have
set my permissions to all until I get the script working and will worry
about security later.
These lines are from my html file
<input type=hidden name="cg" value="c:\program files\analog\analog.cfg">
<input type=hidden name="IMAGEDIR" value="/analog/images/">
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
