That's the way it's designed to work. Analog created an output file when
run from the command line. anlgform.pl only outputs to the browser. This
is a security feature, as otherwise, users could start making files all
over your server.

You can use DEBUG C to see where the errors are in your logfiles and
track them down. Alternately, you can post 2 or 3 lines of the logfile
to the list and someone can work out a logfile format for you.
