Hello,

Please forgive the intrusion into this list with a helper application
question. I was hoping someone familiar with "fastresolve" may recognize
my problem or know where I might find the answer. I have fastresolve
(dns-terror at least) running on RedHat Linux 6.2 with Berkeley DB 3.1.
Dns-terror runs fine and dumps its lookups into the DB file, which it
reads normally on subsequent runs.

The problem, however, is that the other programs which need to work on
the DB file--including the one I need to generate a DNS cache file for
use with Analog (convert-ip-db)--cannot read the DB file. Unfortunately,
they also do not say why, and the fastresolve documentation does not
offer much insight in this regard. The error message generated is simply
"Can't read ip2host.db:" It gives this message even when I specify the
full path to the DB file.

Has anyone run across this problem before, or might you be able to
suggest how to get closer to an answer? Feel free to email me directly
to avoid cluttering up the Analog help list with a question only
indirectly related to Analog.

Thank you,
Shelley Mannion
