Hi,
I just can't get started with analog - it doesn't seem to want to recognise
the log file format.
In my /etc/analog.cfg file I have the following line (I tried the
APACHELOGFORMAT command too):
LOGFORMAT ("%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %s %b %v \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-agent}i\")
but when I run analog I get the following errors:
[root@rigsby test]# analog
analog: analog version 4.16/Unix
analog: Warning C: Bad argument in configuration command: ignoring it:
LOGFORMAT ("%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %S %b %v \"%{Referer}i\"
\"%{User-agent}i\")
analog: ...cont..: (reason: an unknown item code is present)
(For help on all errors and warnings, see docs/errors.html)
analog: Warning L: Large number of corrupt lines in logfile
/root/test/access_log.megsoc: try different LOGFORMAT
Current logfile format:
%S %j %j [%d/%M/%Y:%h:%n:%j] "%j%w%r%wHTTP%j" %c %b\n
%S %j %j [%d/%M/%Y:%h:%n:%j] "%j%w%r" %c %b\n
%S %j %j [%d/%M/%Y:%h:%n:%j] "%r" %c %b\n
analog: Warning R: Turning off empty Search Word Report
analog: Warning R: Turning off empty Operating System Report
[root@rigsby test]#
I thought I saw in the docs that it supports the %{<header>}i directive, but
I suspect that is what
it is falling over on.
Can anyone help?
thanks in advance,
- Kev
