Hi,
I'm particularly interested in setting up the form interface for my users,
but as a result of using SuExec, each user would need to have their own
copy of the perl file (although I believe a global install of the analog
binary is still acceptable).
The real question is this:
I'm using logfile rotation via cronolog, and I see that the * character is
disabled for use in the logfile command. Is the ? wildcard character
still supported?
For example, my partial directory list follows below. The first entry is
a symlink created for ease of use with programs that tail the main
logfile.
Could I use access_log.???.???? as my logfile command?
ls -al:
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root danm 39 Apr 18 10:20 access_log ->
/usr/home/danm/logs/access_log.Apr.2001
-rw-r--r-- 1 root danm 200741 Apr 20 07:13 access_log.Apr.2001
-rw-r--r-- 1 root danm 63246 Dec 31 01:40 access_log.Dec.2000
-rw-r--r-- 1 root danm 396542 Feb 28 23:20 access_log.Feb.2001
-rw-r--r-- 1 root danm 47757 Jan 31 23:00 access_log.Jan.2001
-rw-r--r-- 1 root danm 822082 Mar 31 21:00 access_log.Mar.2001
-rw-r--r-- 1 root danm 65163 Nov 30 23:16 access_log.Nov.2000
-rw-r--r-- 1 root danm 11419 Oct 31 23:45 access_log.Oct.2000
Thanks for all the help,
Dan Mahoney
