No, it's a form letter, because I can't handle the volume of mail.
I used to answer everything myself. Even after the mailing list was set up,
I used to answer everything that was sent directly to me.
Later I started to direct complicated things to the list, but answer instant
questions myself. But even then I ended up getting into long conversations
with the same person, on the same or new questions, and it was hard to
direct them to the list at that point when they'd got it into their heads
that I provided technical support. So at the moment I answer the instant
questions but (I thought politely :) ask them to use the list next time.
