I'm new to analog and I'm hoping that there is a way configure it to
recognise session information in some fashion. I appreciate that those using
proxy servers will incur oddities in the statistics and, to this end, I'd
like ask if it's possible to take advantage of the web applications session
management information which appears in the url ...

eg:
/cgi-bin/w207.sh?session=12345678&infile=start_page.glu

The session parameter here can be considered unique for a particular user
visiting the site.

Is this possible atall ?

Is it possible to also produce statistics by parameters to such scripts ?

eg: 'infile' to a large extent relates to a page being served and 'entry' is
the value the user is looking for on this site.

One problem which I may not be able to avoid is that some of the session may
involve browsing the help pages. These are pure HTML and not served via the
cgi script above and therefore do not have any link in the log file to the
particular session.

Help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tim
