not sure what your setup is, but why can't you run it hourly if it's on a
monthly base? all you have to do it re-run a separate report for each hour
using the TO and FROM commands. it is true that you would be analyzing the
same logfiles over and over again, every time looking at a different hour
slice, but it would produce the desired reports (many of them). something to
be automated, of course.
also, keep in mind that the uniques you get for each hour are only unique
relative to that hour, that is, you cannot add the uniques of each hour of a
day to get the total for that day. unique hosts are not cummulative.
