Some time ago we downloaded Analog version 4.13.
Our requirements are simple -number of requests/day and /week. similar for
page requests, number of failed requests, where visitors come from
(referring site report) and specific pages visited which we extract from
"Request Report". Once a month we configure with DNS WRITE activated for
DNS lookups.
Analog seems to perform these tasks without difficulty.
Our question is (bearing in mind the maxim - if it ain't broke don't fix it)
would there be any significant advantage in upgrading to a later version of
Analog.
We know there are upgrade details available from the Analog site but because
we are not experienced in this field we are not certain of the practical
advantages in upgrading.
Any advice greatly appreciated
