Maybe I'm missing something, but
if you _redirect_ a page, then the user's browser requests the new URL it
gets. So _this_ is the hit & page request then. If one would also count
the redirect, it would count those pages twice, won't it?
Have a
look into your logfiles, after the redirect you should see a 200 from the
same IP shortly afterwards (if the browser really followed
that redirect).
