Still blank, until I realised the problem was a relative path in my
config. I have a directory for the domain, which has a directory for
the logs and a symlink to the directory for the site. The analog.cfg
was in the latter so when I gave the logfiles as ../../logs/test.log it
was searching the home directory rather than the logs directory.
Stupid mistake I admit, I got the wrong of the stick somewhere and
didn't even think about a different problem.
