        there is a way of getting real stats for each page but it involves
two things.  Money and putting code into all the pages you want monitored, I
think it also involves storing a cookie on the users PC so you can identify
them when they come back.  Using these methods you can even trace when they
read the page from their own cache - as long as they are online at the time.
There are companies who will supply the code and generate the reports, see
the URLs below.  
For myself I don't think:
         this level of detail is necessary
        justifies the expense 
        is a good idea to let others have their code embedded in your pages.

BUT that isn't to say management will not differ on all the above  ;-<>
