This will probably turn out to be a dumb mistake, but I've been looking at it for two days and can't figure it out.
Here's the analog command I type, and it's output: # /opt/analog/analog-5.03/analog +g/opt/analog/analog-5.03/popline.analog.cfg +F010901 +T010907 +O/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/webstats/popline/20010907/ /opt/analog/analog-5.03/analog: analog version 5.03/Unix /opt/analog/analog-5.03/analog: Fatal error: failed to open output file /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/webstats/popline/20010907/ for writing: exiting # ll /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/webstats/popline/20010907/ total 2 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 1024 Sep 27 10:10 . drwxr-xr-x 11 root root 1024 Sep 27 10:10 .. # I'm confused because, as you can see from the "ll" command (alias for "ls -l"), the directory exists and is writeable by root, which is who I am when I run this job. There's plenty of room in this hard disk. Any suggestions? Please be gentle when you point out my boneheaded mistake. -Kevin Zembower ----- E.
