2001-09-30 I narrowed the SUBORG bug down to two lines. It appears that a certain numeric combination of an IP address causes the SUBORG to not display. Since the logfiles have tabs as delimiters, I packaged the good and bad logs as well as a small config file at: <http://www.sccs.swarthmore.edu/~ctrucks1/unofficial/SUBORG-bug.sit>. Each of the four logfiles have two lines in them but the second line is slightly different: bad.log: No SUBORG, IP address for second line. bad-ip-ref.log: No SUBORG, identical to good-ip-ref.log except for different IP address on second line. good.log: SUBORG fine, host name for second line. good-ip-ref.log: SUBORG fine, different IP for second line. All of them have the first line that uses the SUBORG command. I zeroed out the most unique part of the host addresses where I could. I couldn't do that for the IP number in the bad logs because making the IP address end in 0 or even 100 made the SUBORG work again.
