I believe if you have the hashes (#) before the lines in the analog.cfg file then the program takes no notice of the lines as they are regarded as commented out. What format log is it, you may not need to specify a log format. What web server are you using ?

Subject: [analog-help] Logformat help

Hi.

Perhaps someone can help me with the following log file format command.

Log file:

"04/07/2000","06:46:24","142.237.29.39","GET","SYS:/ETC/HTTPD/HTDOCS/SSFC/WELCOME.HTM"
"04/07/2000","06:47:12","142.237.129.16","GET","SYS:/ETC/HTTPD/HTDOCS/SSFC.HTM"
"04/07/2000","06:50:16","24.226.33.154","GET","SYS:/ETC/HTTPD/HTDOCS/SSFC.HTM"
"04/07/2000","06:50:18","24.226.33.154","GET","SYS:/ETC/HTTPD/HTDOCS/COURSES/WELCOME.HTM"
"04/07/2000","06:50:20","24.226.33.154","GET","SYS:/HOME/BBROWN/HTDOCS/CANCEL/CANCEL.HTM"

Commands I've tried with no luck:

# LOGFORMAT (%m/%d/%y %h:%n%am, %r, %S, %c, %b, %f, %B)
# LOGFORMAT (%j, %d/%M/%y %j, %j, %j, %h:%n:%j, %j, %j, %j, %S, %j, %j, %j, %c, %j, %j, %j, %r, %j)
# LOGFORMAT (%j %d/%M/%y %j,%j %h:%n:%j","%S","%c","%r")
# LOGFORMAT (%j %d/%M/%y %j,%j %h:%n:%j ,"%S","%c %j, %j %r %j)
# LOGFORMAT (%j %d/%M/%y %j %j %h:%n:%am %j %S %j %j %c %j %j %r %j)
# LOGFORMAT (%j %d/%M/%y, %j %h:%n:%am %j,%j %S %j, %j %c %j, %j %r %j)
# LOGFORMAT (%d/%M/%y, %h:%n:%am, %S, %c, %r)
What to do with the quotes and commas???

Thanks
Rick
